NOVERTINE OINTMENT 30 g
Description
A homogeneous mass with the consistency of thick sour cream from white to light yellow or light gray in color with a weak specific odor.
Composition
100 g of the drug contains the active ingredient:
aversectin C - 0.05 g.
Excipients: polyethylene glycol-1500 (polyethylene oxide-1500), polyethylene glycol-400 (polyethylene oxide-400), ethyl alcohol, glycerin.
Pharmacological properties
ATCvet QP54, endectocides (QP54AA avermectins).
Aversectin C is a product of microbial synthesis using the culture of Streptomyces avermitilis and has antiparasitic properties. The drug in the parasite’s body enhances the formation of the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which binds to special receptors on nerve endings, blocking nerve impulses, which causes paralysis and death of the parasite. The drug has low toxicity for mammals.
Application
Treatment of dogs, cats, fur-bearing animals and rabbits affected by arachno-entomoses: psoroptosis (Psoroptes сuniculi), otodectosis (Otodectes cynotis), notoedrosis (Notoedres cati, N. сuniculi), sarcoptic mange (Sarcoptes canis, Sarcoptes cuniculi),demodicosis(Demodex canis D. Cati); in case of damage: lice eaters (Trichodectes canis Felicola subrostratus), lice (Linognathus setosus, Haemodipsus ventricosus), fleas (Ctenocephalides canis, Ctenocephalus felis, Spilopsyllus cuniculi).
Dosage
When treating psoroptosis, otodectosis, notoedrosis, sarcoptic mange, the drug is applied to the affected areas at the rate of 0.2 g/cm2. The treatment is carried out twice with an interval of 5-7 days, if necessary, the treatment is repeated.
In case of demodicosis, the affected areas are treated with the drug at the rate of 0.2 g/cm2. The treatment is repeated five times with an interval of 7-10 days.
To combat fleas, lice and lice, the ointment is rubbed against the grain into places that are inaccessible for licking. Treatment is carried out twice with an interval of 7-10 days.
Contraindications
Do not use on weakened, emaciated or sick animals.
Caution
Slaughter of rabbits for meat is permitted 5 days after the last treatment. When slaughtered before the specified date, the meat is used to feed carnivores.

Storage
Dry, protected from light place at a temperature from minus 20ºС to 30ºС in the manufacturer's packaging, in closed warehouses. Packages with the drug are stored on racks or pallets. The drug is stacked in a group (transport container). The height of the stack is 2-3 tiers.
