Deworming tablets Bayer Drontal for cats
A broad-spectrum anthelmintic for the prevention and treatment of helminthiases in cats.
Composition:
The tablet is white, yellowish at the break, divided into two equal parts, contains 230 mg of pyrantel, 20 mg of praziquantel.
Indications for use:
The product is used for the prevention and therapeutic treatment of cats against round and tapeworms: Toxocara cati, Ancylostoma tubaeforme, Ancylostoma pziliense, Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis, Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Mesocestoides spp., Joyeuxiella sp.
Dosage and method of administration:
One tablet is designed for 4 kg of animal weight.
The tablet is given once, either by force or with food (in meat, minced meat, in a piece of butter). Preventive treatment of animals should be carried out at least 4 times a year without preliminary examination of feces and identification of helminths, and this must also be done before vaccination, mating, 10 days before lambing. No preliminary diet or laxatives are required.
Contraindications: none.
Side effects: not observed.
Useful information:
Drontal can be given to kittens, old and weakened animals, pregnant and lactating females.
Since fleas are carriers of the larval stage of Dipylidium caninum, deworming should be carried out in conjunction with treating the animal against fleas (Advantage or Bolfo).
