Drops for external use for the treatment and prevention of infection of dogs with endo- and ectoparasites.
Description:
transparent oily liquid with a specific odor of the constituent components.
Composition and pharmacological properties:
1.0 ml of the drug contains active ingredients: imidacloprid - 100 mg, ivermectin - 25 mg.
Excipients: N-methylpyrrolidone, citric acid, PEG-400.
The drug is highly effective against ectoparasites, such as fleas, ticks (otodectosis, sarcoptoid, notoedrous, demodectic), and endoparasites: nematodes, dirofilaria (effective against L3 and L4 stage larvae).
The drug contains imidacloprid, which acts on the receptors of the nervous system of ectoparasites, interrupts the transmission of nerve impulses, which leads to paralysis and subsequent death of the parasite. Imidacloprid does not penetrate the blood-brain barrier and therefore does not affect the central nervous system of mammals. Ivermectin has a pronounced antiparasitic effect on larval and mature forms of nematodes.
Indications for use:
Prevention and treatment of animals affected by fleas, intestinal nematodes, scabies mites (Otodectes cynotis, Notoedres cati, Sarcoptes canis), demodicosis, as well as prevention of dirofilariasis (effective against stage L3 and L4 larvae).
Method of use and dosage:
The drug is used in animals only externally, by applying to dry, intact skin, after spreading the fur. Apply the drug at the base of the skull or between the shoulder blades. For large dogs weighing more than 20 kg, the contents of the pipette are applied to 3-4 points along the spine, starting from the place between the shoulder blades and ending with the base of the tail.
After treatment with the drug, pets are not bathed for 48 hours. The drug provides protection for 1.5-2 months.
If affected by scabies and demodectic mites, treatment is carried out 2-3 times with an interval of 10 days.
Contraindications:
Do not use on sick or weakened animals. Do not use on puppies under 10 weeks of age.
