How to deworm a cat
Adult cats are dewormed every 3 months (indoor cats at least every six months), kittens on a vet's schedule and always before vaccination. If your cat won't take a tablet, use a suspension or a spot-on (Profender) — nothing needs to go in the mouth.
The dose depends on weight; one tablet usually covers 4 kg. Read the leaflet before use; for kittens under the stated age and pregnant or nursing cats — only as prescribed by a vet.
