AnimAll VetLine Anti-Parasitic Collar for Cats and Dogs, Orange, 35 cm
Composition
One collar contains the active ingredients:
Pharmacological Properties
ATCvet QP53, ectoparasiticides, insecticides and repellents (QP53AC55, flumethrin, combinations).
The pharmaceutical action of the collar is due to the properties of the active ingredients: imidacloprid and flumethrin.
Imidacloprid, an ectoparasiticide, belongs to the chloronicotinyl group of compounds. It has a high affinity for nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the postsynaptic regions of the flea's nervous system. Interruption of nerve impulse transmission leads to paralysis and death of wingless insects: larvae and adult fleas (Ctenocephalides canis, Ct. Felis, Pulex irritans), lice (Linognathus setosus), and biting lice (Trichodectes canis, Felicola subrostratus). Imidacloprid has a low level of penetration through the blood-brain barrier, so it has practically no effect on the mammalian CNS.
Flumethrin is an ectoparasiticide of the synthetic pyrethroid group with high acaricidal activity. Synthetic pyrethroids interact with sodium channels of nerve cell membranes, causing depolarization of nerve endings, which leads to the death of the parasite. Flumethrin does not exhibit anticholinesterase activity.
The collar's polymer strip ensures continuous and slow release of the active ingredients at a stable concentration from the collar onto the animal's coat. As a result, the acaricidal and insecticidal concentration of the active ingredients on the animal's coat remains stable throughout the collar's period of effectiveness.
The collar is well tolerated by animals and has no local irritant effect.
Application
Prevention and treatment of dogs and cats affected by fleas (Ctenocephalides felis, Ct. Canis, Pulex irritans), lice (Linognathus setosus), biting lice (Trichodectes canis, Felicola subrostratus), and ixodid ticks (Ixodes spp., Hyalomma spp., Dermacentor spp., Haemaphysalis spp., Rhipicephalus spp., Boophilus calcaratus).
Can be used as one of the remedies in the treatment of flea allergy dermatitis.
Length: 35 cm.
Color: orange.
Dosage
For external use only. One collar is intended for a single animal.
Open the package containing the collar, unfold it and fasten it loosely around the dog's or cat's neck so that a small gap (about 2 fingers wide) remains between the neck and the collar, then close the buckle. The collar should sit loosely on the neck and not restrict the animal's growth. The length of the collar can be adjusted depending on the size of the animal.
Continuous use of the collar protects the animal from ectoparasites for 7 months.
If the collar's effectiveness decreases, it should be replaced with a new one. It is advisable to remove the collar before bathing the animal, as significant wetting of the coat and skin (rain, bathing, swimming) reduces the collar's effectiveness.
For medium and large dog breeds - a 70 cm collar; for small dog breeds and cats - 35 cm.
Contraindications
- Do not use on sick or weakened animals!
- Do not use on animals with known hypersensitivity to any of the product's ingredients!

Precautions
Open the collar's package immediately before use.
If the animal's owner has heightened individual sensitivity to the active substances, or has scratches or damaged skin on the hands, rubber gloves should be worn.
After handling the collar, wash your hands thoroughly with warm water and soap.
In animals with hypersensitivity to imidacloprid or flumethrin, skin irritation may occasionally occur when the collar is used. In such cases, use of the collar should be discontinued.
Form of Release
The collar is hermetically sealed in a polymer film and packed in a cardboard box. For medium and large dog breeds - a 70 cm collar; for small dog breeds and cats - 35 cm.
