KILTIX : (Kiltiks) - anti-mite collar for dogs
The longest period of validity is 7 months of protection against fleas and ticks.
Protection against ixodid ticks, as well as fleas and other ectoparasites for 7 months.
Composition:It is a polyvinyl chloride tape containing propoxur and flumethrin.
10 g of tape contains 1 g of propoxur and 0.225 g of flumethrin.
Biological properties:
Propoxur and flumethrin, which are part of the collar, are gradually released from the surface of the tape and are transferred to the skin and hair of the animal, providing a synergistic insecto-acaricidal effect on insects and ixodid ticks that parasitize dogs.
To ensure maximum protection for your dog from ticks, you must follow these rules:
- The dog must wear the Kiltix® collar at all times.
- The Kiltix® collar must be put on the dog at least 24 hours before going to places where there is a potential possibility of attack by ixodid ticks
- Before walking in areas with large concentrations of ticks, we recommend treating the animal’s limbs with Bolfo aerosol
Contraindications:The collar is not recommended for use by sick, convalescent animals, or lactating bitches.
