Each 1 ml contains 100 mg imidacloprid and 10 mg ivermectin. According to the manufacturer, it acts against fleas, ear, mange and demodex mites, intestinal roundworms and heartworm larvae. Protection lasts 1.5–2 months after treatment. The pack contains 4 pipettes.
How it works
Imidacloprid acts on insects' nervous systems, paralysing and killing fleas; according to the manufacturer, it doesn't cross the blood-brain barrier in mammals. Ivermectin is effective against roundworms and mites, including ear mites (otodectic mange) and mange mites. Together they tackle several problems at once: fleas, ear mites and roundworms. How to apply
Part the fur at the base of the skull or between the shoulder blades and apply the pipette contents to dry, unbroken skin where the cat can't lick. Don't bathe the cat for 48 hours afterwards. With several cats, make sure they don't groom each other until the drops dry. For mange and demodex mites, treatment is repeated 2–3 times at 10-day intervals — best agreed with a vet.
Safety
Don't use it on sick or weakened animals or kittens under 12 weeks. Don't combine it with other insecticides or dewormers without a vet's advice. Wash your hands after applying and don't stroke the treated area until it's dry. If drooling, trembling or restlessness appear after treatment, wash the application site and contact a vet.
Fleas, ear mites and worms
Fleas carry the cucumber tapeworm, so a cat with fleas also needs deworming against tapeworms. Ear mites show up as dark ear discharge and intense itching — clean the ears before treatment.
