Product information
- Quick and easy water quality test
- Indicator test to check 6 water quality indicators in just 60 seconds
- Allows you to measure pH, carbonate hardness (KH), total hardness (GH), nitrite content (NO2), nitrates (NO3) and chlorine (Cl2)
- pH - the pH level characterizes the acidity or alkalinity of the water, which is an important parameter for fish health. Ideally, the pH level should be between 6.5 and 8.5
- KH - hydrocarbonate hardness ensures stabilization of the pH level. As a rule, a value of 3° to 10 °dH
- GH is recommended - the overall hardness has a direct impact on the health of fish, plants and microorganisms. Ideally, the total hardness should be between 6 and 16 °dH
- NO2 – a nitrite level close to zero indicates that the filter is working properly and that the water is safe for fish
- NO3 – the nitrate content indicates the degree of “freshness” of the water and how likely it is to develop algae
- Cl2 – indicates the chlorine content of the water. Excessively high levels harm beneficial bacteria and fish
