Hepatiale Forte 300 mg is developed for dogs and cats in need of maintaining and restoring liver function. The drug is recommended for liver failure and functional disorders; fatty and connective tissue changes in the liver; during the treatment of patients with hepatic encephalopathy or if this disease is suspected; when taking medications that have a potentially negative effect on liver cells; in cases of relatively long fasting. Release form: pack of 40 tablets.
Composition:
Active ingredients - phospholipids: phosphatidylcholine from soybeans and ornithine in the form of L-ornithine L-aspartate, excipients: microcrystalline cellulose (MCC), magnesium stearate. In one tablet: phosphatidylcholine 150 mg, ornithine 150 mg, MCC 240 mg, magnesium stearate 12 mg.
Ornithine is especially important for cats, which use amino acids for energy production, as a result of which deamination processes occur very intensively in them. Ornithine is especially indicated for cats diagnosed with hepatic encephalopathy (or suspected), as well as those who have been starving for a long time. The compound of phospholipids and ornithine in dogs and cats acts as a hepatoprotector, specifically protects liver tissue, initiates the process of hepatocyte regeneration and supports liver function, especially during the treatment of liver diseases.
