One-time use of the drug is effective in the treatment of gastrointestinal nematodes. After treatment of nematodes, the next treatment of animals against fleas and ticks is carried out with monovalent drugs. In order to prevent dirofilariasis in dangerous regions, NexGard Spectra is used monthly in the spring-summer-autumn period, starting a month before the start of summer, before the appearance of pathogen carriers - mosquitoes and mosquitoes, and is completed no earlier than a month after the end of summer. If the animal has been treated with another drug that protects against heartworms, the first application of NexGard Spectra should begin 1 month after the last treatment with the previous drug. Before treatment with the drug for the prevention of dirofilariasis, it is recommended to examine dogs over 8 months of age for the presence of mature dirofilariae in the body. Breaking tablets is not allowed. NexGard Spectra has a pleasant aroma and taste and, as a rule, is well eaten by dogs; otherwise, the drug is fed with food.
