AnimAll VetLine Anti-Parasitic Collar for Dogs, Purple, 35 cm
Composition
One collar contains active ingredients:
Pharmacological properties
ATCvet QP53, ectoparasiticides, insecticides and repellents (QP53AC55, flumethrin, combinations).
The pharmaceutical action of the collar is due to the properties of its active ingredients: imidacloprid and flumethrin.
Imidacloprid, an ectoparasiticide, belongs to the chloronicotinyl group of compounds. It has a high affinity for nicotinic acetylcholine receptors at the postsynaptic sites of the flea's nervous system. Interruption of nerve impulse transmission leads to paralysis and death of wingless insects: larvae and adult fleas (Ctenocephalides canis, Ct. Felis, Pulex irritans), lice (Linognathus setosus), and biting lice (Trichodectes canis, Felicola subrostratus). Imidacloprid has a low level of penetration through the blood-brain barrier, so it practically has no effect on the CNS of mammals.
Flumethrin is an ectoparasiticide of the synthetic pyrethroid group with high acaricidal activity. Synthetic pyrethroids interact with sodium channels of nerve cell membranes, causing depolarization of nerve endings, which leads to the death of the parasite. Flumethrin does not exhibit anticholinesterase activity.
The collar's polymer strip provides continuous, slow release of the active ingredients at a stable concentration from the collar onto the animal's coat. As a result, the acaricidal and insecticidal concentration of the active ingredients on the animal's coat remains stable throughout the effective period of the collar.
The collar is well tolerated by animals and has no local irritant effect.
Use
Prevention and treatment of dogs and cats infested with: fleas (Ctenocephalides felis, C t. Canis, Pulex irritans), lice (Linognathus setosus), biting lice (Trichodectes canis, Felicola subrostratus) and ixodid ticks (Ixodes spp., Hyalomma spp., Dermacentor spp., Haemaphysalis spp., Rhipicephalus spp., Boophilus calcaratus).
Can be used as one of the remedies in the treatment of flea allergy dermatitis.
Length: 35 cm.
Color: purple.
Dosage
For external use only. One collar is intended for a single animal.
Open the collar's packaging, unroll it, and fasten it loosely around the neck of the dog or cat so that a small gap (about 2 fingers wide) remains between the neck and the collar, then close the buckle. The collar should fit loosely around the neck and not restrict the animal's growth. The length of the collar is adjusted depending on the size of the animal.
Continuous use of the collar protects the animal from ectoparasites for 7 months.
If the collar's effectiveness decreases, it should be replaced with a new one. It is advisable to remove the collar before bathing the animal, as significant wetting of the coat and skin (rain, bathing, swimming) reduces the collar's effectiveness.
For medium and large dog breeds - a 70 cm collar; for small dog breeds and cats - 35 cm.
Contraindications
- Do not use on sick or weakened animals!
- Do not use on animals with known hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the product!
- Do not use on puppies under 7 weeks of age or kittens under 10 weeks of age!

Precautions
Open the collar's packaging immediately before use.
If the animal's owner has increased individual sensitivity to the active ingredients, or has scratches or skin damage on their hands, rubber gloves should be worn.
After handling the collar, wash hands thoroughly with warm water and soap.
In animals with hypersensitivity to imidacloprid or flumethrin, skin irritation may occasionally occur when the collar is used. In such cases, use of the collar should be discontinued.
Presentation
The collar is hermetically sealed in polymer film and packed in a cardboard box. For medium and large dog breeds - a 70 cm collar; for small dog breeds and cats - 35 cm.
