CROCI Vanity, 8×4 cm is a compact mini holder for dog poop bags from the Italian brand CROCI. It's made of tough waterproof material, fits easily into a handbag or backpack and keeps bags hygienically stored. A handy slot lets you pull bags out one at a time. According to the manufacturer, it holds up to 10 bags. Colours are assorted.
Why a dedicated bag holder
Bags in your pocket get crumpled, lost and tangled with keys and phone. They're hard to find in a hurry, especially in gloves. A compact holder keeps bags in one place, and the slot dispenses one without shaking out the rest. It can hang on the lead, a belt or a backpack, so bags are always with you, even on a quick trip outside. More on walks in retractable or standard lead.

How to use it
Insert a roll or stack of bags and feed the end of the first one through the slot. On a walk, pull the end — the bag comes out and the next is ready. Refill at home so you never run out outside. If it hangs on the lead, make sure it doesn't bump your dog's face as it moves.
Why picking up matters
Picking up after your dog isn't just about tidiness and neighbourly relations. Faeces can contain worm eggs and other pathogens passed on to other dogs and even people. So it matters in town and in parks alike. On parasite prevention, see worms in cats and dogs: prevention.
What else to take on a walk
Besides bags, take water for your dog, treats for rewards and, after dark, a light-up tag. A handy kit: lead, bag holder and a Croci Twinkle LED tag on the collar. For training on walks, soft treats work best — more in training treats for dogs.
Care
Wipe the holder with a damp cloth if it gets dirty — the waterproof material cleans easily. Check the attachment and slot from time to time, as they can stretch.
Choosing a bag holder
Go by size: a compact model is handy in a pocket or bag, while a bigger one holds more bags for long walks. Check the attachment — a clip or loop lets you hang it on the lead. Waterproof material keeps bags dry.
Which bags to choose
Standard dog-walking bag rolls fit the holder. Choose thick bags that don't tear or let smells through; scented bags make the trip to the bin more pleasant. Biodegradable bags are greener but become brittle over time, so don't store them for years. Always put used bags in a bin rather than leaving them by the path.
Who it suits
Dog owners who want poop bags always to hand and appreciate compact walking accessories. More products are in the dog gear and accessories section.
