Composition
1 g of the drug contains active ingredients:
chlorhexidine bigluconate – 10 mg;
zinc oxide – 50 mg;
Excipients: dimethyl sulfoxide, PEG-1500, purified water.

The drug has a pronounced antiseptic effect. The components of the ointment are effective against vegetative forms of gram-positive (Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Mycobacterium spp., Corynebacterium xerosis, Micrococcus spp., Sarcina lutea, Clostridium spp., Bacillus subtilis) and gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., Shigella spp., Klebsiella spp., Enterobacter spp., Serratia marcescens, Providencia spp., Proteus spp., Pseudomonas spp., Neisseria spp.), as well as yeast (Candida spp.), dermatophytes (Dermatophytes, Microsporum, Trichophyton, Trichoderma), lipophilic viruses, chlamydia. In addition, the drug has anti-inflammatory, astringent, and local analgesic effects.
Application
Treatment in cattle, sheep, goats, horses, pigs, rabbits, poultry, dogs, cats for skin diseases caused by bacterial and fungal microflora: skin staphylococcosis, all types of pyoderma, impetiginous eczema, cutaneous candidiasis, dermatomycosis (trichophytia, microsporia), seborrhea, otitis externa, purulent wounds, superficial abscesses, burns.
Dosage
The ointment is applied in a thin layer to the affected area of the skin 1-2 times a day until complete recovery. The duration of use is determined by the type of pathological process. In any case, it is necessary to use the ointment for at least 2-3 days after the disappearance of clinical signs of the disease. For fungal diseases, the drug is applied within 7–10 days after the disappearance of clinical signs of the disease. For purulent wounds and abscesses, soak gauze pads with ointment and fill the wound or abscess cavity. Dressings are carried out daily until purulent-necrotic masses are completely cleared.
Contraindications
Individual hypersensitivity to chlorhexidine.
Avoid contact of the ointment with the mucous membranes of the eyes.
Do not use simultaneously with iodine preparations.
Cautions
Unused product is disposed of in accordance with national requirements.
