Most chinchillas readily accept food. However, if you are switching from another food, it is important to do so gradually. For the first few days, mix the old food with CARE+. Chinchillas appreciate regularity in their feeding, so try to feed them at the same time every day. There should always be access to clean drinking water and fresh hay.
