Properties and action
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a mucopolysaccharide that connects collagen and elastin fibers, stops the inflammatory process, increases the penetration of nutritional substances into tissues, it is the main element of synovial fluid.
Glucosamine and chondroitin regenerate and strengthen articular cartilage. New Zealand green-lipped clam (Perna canaliculus) contains:
- GAGs (glycosaminoglycans), which are an important component of articular cartilage and synovial fluid,
- omega-3 fatty acids (EPA, DHA, ETA),
- macro- and microelements that help with cartilage regeneration, stimulating joint processes,
- vitamins,
- amino acids.
Shark cartilage contains proteins, saccharides (collagen complex with chondroitin sulfate).
Helps to keep joints and bones in good condition, as well as level out inflammatory and degenerative processes, has a strong effect on the immune system, improves the general condition of the animal, and also accelerates the body’s healing process after diseases.
