How to choose a deshedding tool
A deshedding tool removes dead undercoat without damaging the topcoat, so there's noticeably less hair at home during shedding. Choose by the animal's size and coat length: short- and long-coat models differ in tooth length. Don't use it on broken skin or on breeds without an undercoat, and brush a dry, detangled coat once or twice a week.
